Grammar fail: Picky editor takes red pen to 'for sale' sign

One grammar obsessive has taken their need for perfect sentence structure to a new level.


A sign on the streets of a Melbourne suburb in Australia has been corrected with a red pen. The 'for sale' sign is an education in grammar — from the fixed typo to the editing of Americanisms



"Perfect located one of the famous street in Balwyn, school zone of Balwyn high second colloge. It is only walking minutes to shopping mall, 109tram and the Eastern Freeway," the sign stated originally. "The house features with classical style, stable construction; offers 3 generous size bed rooms with built in wardrobes, plus study space." Read more...
