Latest data shows 3.3% of Android users with Lollipop, more than double last month's figure

The latest numbers are out and they reveal that 3.3% of Android users are running Android 5.0 on their devices. That is more than double the 1.6% that were found using Lollipop last month. The numbers are based on the versions of Android found on devices visiting the Google Play Store for the seven days ending today.



Jelly Bean is the most widely used Android build. Consisting of Android 4.1.x to Android 4.3, Jelly Bean is active on 42.6% of Android devices. That is down from last month's total of 45.6%. KitKat, Android 4.4, is used by 40.9% of Android devices which is up from 39.9% seen ...
