CEO of smartphone manufacturer says carriers are beginning to demand more Windows Phone units to sell

Smartphone manufacturer Infosonics is the company behind the Verykool line of Windows Phone handsets. At MWC in Barcelona, company CEO Joseph Ram has been showing off the Phantom, an unlocked handset that supports AT&T and T-Mobile's 4G LTE networks, and is priced to sell at $299. In making the rounds between carriers, Ram says that larger carriers are beginning to seek out more Windows Phone models to carry.



The executive sees the cross-device universal compatibility of Windows 10 as the feature that will start a new wave of demand for devices powered by Microsoft's open source OS. ...
